Who I am and what I do?

Serenity & Purpose Wellness Coaching gathers and process personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This notice explains how, why and when we process your personal data, who we may share it with, and how we keep it secure.

We are happy to provide any additional information or explanation needed. We keep this Privacy Notice under regular review; it was last reviewed in August 2026.

What information is being collected?

We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and do not process your information in any way other than as specified in this notice. We collect:

  • Contact details you provide via our website contact form (name, email address, and any message content)

  • Booking details when you schedule a “Find Yourself Again” discovery call, via Calendly (name, email address, and any information you provide when booking)

  • Email address and name, where you have actively opted in to receive email updates from us

  • Any information shared with us during coaching sessions, conducted by Zoom or Microsoft Teams, or via email or telephone

  • Standard technical data collected by our website host, Wix, such as IP address and browser information, as part of normal website operation

We do not collect coaching agreement or session note information through this website. Where these are used, they are arranged separately, once you have enrolled on a coaching programme, outside the website.

We do not collect payment or card details through this website. Enrolment onto a coaching programme follows a direct conversation, and any payment arrangements are handled separately, outside the website.

How is the information being collected?

You provide us with personal data in the following ways:

  • Via our website contact form

  • When booking a discovery call through Calendly

  • During a coaching session, or via email or telephone

  • By actively opting in to our email list

 

How will we use your personal data?

 

We take your privacy seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent, unless required to do so by law. We only retain your data for as long as necessary and for the purposes specified in this notice. Where you have consented to receive marketing emails, you are free to withdraw this consent at any time. We process your personal data on the following grounds:

  • To arrange and deliver find yourself again calls and coaching sessions you have requested (performance of a contract or to provide a service)

  • To respond to enquiries made through our contact form (legitimate interests)

  • To send you email updates, where you have actively opted in (consent)

  • To comply with any applicable laws and regulations

 

Who will your data be shared with?

 

We will keep your information confidential. We only disclose your information to other third parties with your express consent, with the exception of the following categories:

  • Service providers who support us, on the understanding they keep your information confidential, namely Wix (website hosting), Calendly (call scheduling), and Zoom / Microsoft Teams (session delivery)

  • Any legal or crime prevention agencies, or to satisfy a regulatory request, if we have a duty to do so or the law allows it

 

What are your rights?

 

You have the right to access any personal information we process about you, and to request information about what data we hold, the purposes of processing, and how long we intend to keep it.

If you believe we hold incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask us to correct it, and we will do so as quickly as possible.

You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data, or to restrict processing where applicable, as well as to unsubscribe from any direct marketing at any time.

 

What safeguards are in place to keep your data secure?

 

We only use information that may identify you in accordance with UK GDPR, which requires that any processing has a legitimate basis and is fair and lawful.

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides the online platform that allows us to share information about our services with you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's data storage, databases, and general Wix.com applications, on secure servers behind a firewall.

We take reasonable measures and precautions to protect your personal data, including restricted access and secure handling of any information we hold. We ensure that external providers supporting us, such as Wix, Calendly, and Zoom/Microsoft Teams, are bound by their own security and data protection obligations.

Serenity and Purpose Wellness Coaching is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller and collects data for a variety of purposes. A copy of the registration is available through the ICO website.

 

Transfers outside the UK

 

We use a small number of trusted providers to run our website and deliver our services, some of which may store or process personal data outside the UK, including in the United States. This means personal information you submit through our website, or via Calendly or Zoom/Microsoft Teams, may be transferred and stored outside the UK.

Where this happens, our providers rely on legally recognised safeguards, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, in line with UK data protection law.

 

How long we keep your data

 

We only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary.

  • Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we keep this data until you unsubscribe or otherwise withdraw consent

  • We keep contact form enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and follow up

 

Website technical details

 

Forms — we use electronic forms on our website via Wix's forms module, which includes built-in features to support privacy, and we aim to use secure forms where appropriate.

Cookies — we use cookies on this website. We do not use cookies to collect any private or personally identifiable information. Cookies used by our website platform, Wix, contain random strings of characters alongside minimal information about the state and session of the website, and do not collect or disclose personal information about you as a visitor.
